My Valentine

I have not enough words to express how much I love Chris. Husband of over a year, bestfriend/boyfriend of 6 years, I know that he is the perfect man for me.
I appreciate his patience with me, his dedication to my needs and his humor. He is always there when I need him and always lets me know that he loves me.
I am grateful to the Lord to have made our path crossed and I believe that we are meant for each other. I believe that Heavenly Father has been with us all along and that He truly knows us.
Sweetheart, I love you and forever will.

Our time in France in a nutshell

I ( Jen) left for France at the beginning of November as my grandma was passing away. Earlier in the year our plans were to go for the holiday season but the Heavenly Father decided it was time for Mamie to come home and she went on in the next life.
The funeral was difficult to bear. I had up until that point never lost anyone close to me. Despite the pain, I can assure all that I know that the gospel is true and that there is more after this life. I know I will see Mamie Colette again.
Chris came to France two weeks after me and we stayed until our return to the States in Hawaii in January.
Among other things, we were able to visit my grandparents on Ile de Re island, visit some of Chris' mission friends and enjoy time with my family.
So here are a few pictures of our two month stay in the great and wonderful country that I call home...

Back on the Blog

Sorry Everyone for this very long blogging hiatus...
It's been over three months that I've gotten on here and written!
I left in emergency for France at the beginning of November because my grandma was dying of a rare aneurysm. She died while I was on the plane. Anyways, Chris joined me in France a couple of weeks later. What was supposed to be a Christmas vacation ended being a two months stay!! We came back to the States January 6th, and now are in Hawaii.
I will be graduating this June and then we'll be off to who knows where for Chris' studies.
We'll post later on what has happened over the past three months...
We wish you all a wonderful and Happy New Year!!!
