Two jobs
Chris has been working two jobs for the past three weeks...two full time jobs!!
He is an intern at Applied Materials where he learns Mechanical Engineering during the day and at night,he is the night audit for the Meritage Resort in Napa,CA.(here is the website if you want to take a look :www.themeritageresort.com)
My husband I must say is a hard working man and I am so proud of him.He sleeps from 4pm to 9:45pm and works the rest of the time!!
Compared to him,I do feel and probably am a lazy person.I go two days a week to my internship and sometimes more when they have events I can help with. I intern at Assemblywoman Lois Wolk's office. She represents the district of California we currently live in. It's quite interesting! I babysit when offered to and work on my LSAT, GRE and readings I want to get done for school.
Anyways,it's nothing compared to what Chris does. And he does it for us...
I'm grateful for my husband and the sacrifices he makes...He is a great example to me.
I love you Sweetheart.

Protect Marriage!
As many of you might know, traditional marriage in California is being threatened. Activists are trying to legalize same-sex marriage and undermine what is recognized as a sacred union between a man and a woman.
"Marriage is sacred, ordained of God from before the foundation of the world. After creating Adam and Eve, the Lord God pronounced them husband and wife, of which Adam said, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” [1] Jesus Christ cited Adam’s declaration when he affirmed the divine origins of the marriage covenant: “Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh.” [2] " (The Divine Institution of Marriage)
As a latter-day Saint, I believe in marriage. I believe that it is a sacred institution and that its greatest duty is to bring children into the world.God's children.
For those children that are yet to come into this world,we must give our very best effort to protect the most precious union two people can share.
Family is the pillar of society and the greatest anchor we can have in a world full of turmoil and immorality. And it is the right of a child to be reared by a father and a mother. No one can deny that both sides bring something different yet important to the balance of a child.
We know the consequences that legalizing same sex marriage will have in short and long terms on society and we cannot allow society to go that far.

Marriage is ordained of God and for those who don't believe in God,nature then made it only possible for our race to survive because of the union of a man and a woman. There is a purpose to marriage and there are so many wonderful blessings that come along with it. A family is something precious and each child in this world should a right to be raised by a mother and a father.
I am so sad to see what is happening on our society...if we can't keep the family unit intact then nothing will stand the calamities of this world.
I know that marriage is ordained of God and that families can be forever together.
Let's be a light unto the world, let's be the examples that Christ wants us to be.Let's be strong in our standards. And let simply the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ shine!

General Conference...such a blessing.
This past week end was General Conference for our Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. Let me say:"It was wonderful and amazing."
Since the day I've known there was a prophet on Earth,I have been so addicted to Conference. It just is a moment of complete peace and personal revelation. There is so much to learn about the Gospel and how I can be a better disciple for my Savior.
All the talks were wonderful but here are a few things that really made an impact on me:
-In the midst of the storms we must believe in the hope of the Gospel and the assurance that God truly LOVES us.
-Come what may and love it.
-Knit your hearts together, don't sow seeds of disunity.
-We must show our christian courage: the key to it is meekness and the peace of the Savior.
-Be purified even as he is pure by returning to virtue.
-"Don't let a problem to be solved be more important than a person to be loved."
-Remember Him and live so that He would knock at my door.
It was truly a blessing to listen to those great men who serve the Lord with all their heart.
I truly know that they are called of God and that this is the Church of Christ.
I am sad that Chris and I weren't able to go to Utah as we had planned for Conference but it will be for another time...
In the meantime,we can take all the counsels we were given and put them into practice so we can't be a little more perfect next time conference comes around...
The Church is true and the work of the Lord will continue to go forward...until it has penetrated every continent, swept every country and sounded in every ear....
